EMBUDO CANYON, NEW MEXICO

My cousin was always telling me about one of his favorite fishing holes in Embudo Canyon, New Mexico. He happened to invite me to go along when a fishing friend was visiting from Colorado, my friend and I both jumped at the opportunity. My buddy Vern and I packed our gear and drove to my cousin's in Espanola shortly after sunrise, after loading up with bait and supplies we continued up the highway. We drove up a forest road from the Taos highway and took a fifteen minute hike to get to a certain section of the river. Well they didn't get any fish but I was rewarded with more than one good photograph.
